President Sisi ratifies law of establishing National Council for Education

CAIRO- 9 December 2024: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ratified Law No. 163 of 2024, which establishes the National Council for Education, Research, and Innovation. 

The law, which was approved by the House of Representatives, has been officially published in the Gazette.

The National Education and Innovation Council law was a direct response to political leadership directives. 

Its primary mission is to develop comprehensive education policies across all sectors and stages, monitor implementation, and align education outputs with the local and international job market. This move is part of efforts to unify education policies in Egypt.
