CAIRO – 4 December 2024: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, stressed on Wednesday that the recent events in Syria are worrying and Egypt affirms its support for the unity of Syrian lands.
He added in a press conference following the cabinet weekly meeting, that more than 25,000 aid trucks and 370,000 tons left Egypt to support our brothers in Palestine.
Madbouly also said that the meeting with the heads of media bodies discussed how to organize media discourse and confront rumors that are deliberately aimed at sabotaging the state.
The Prime Minister stressed that the huge turnout for the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative reflects the Egyptian citizen's confidence in the state's efforts, noting that Upper Egypt is witnessing a major leap in various governorates, explaining that there is a large tourist demand in Fayoum.
Madbouly said that the government is awaiting the outcomes of the national dialogue to begin studying the mechanisms for implementing the cash support transfer application and to start experimentally, noting that the state has provided 40 billion pounds to the Unified Procurement Authority to provide medicines.
On Wednesday, Madbouli congratulated on Minister of Local Development Manal Awad on winning the Best Governor award in recognition of her efforts during her tenure as the Governor of Damietta.
The minister received the award during the Arab Government Excellence Award ceremony held at the Arab League Headquarters in Cairo.
The Prime Minister said such a award would encourage other officials to exert more efforts for serving the nation.
The award is the first of its kind in the Arab world and the largest in the Arab region in the fields of administrative development, improvement, and excellence
