Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister, met with Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait on December 2,2024 at the New Administrative Capital.
CAIRO- 2 December 2024: Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister, met with Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and his delegation at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
At the start of the meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly warmly welcomed Minister Al-Yahya and conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait.
Madbouly emphasized President El-Sisi's continuous directives to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.
The Prime Minister highlighted plans to soon organize the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Businessmen Forum, aimed at fostering deeper cooperation between the business communities of both nations.
Prime Minister Madbouly also congratulated Kuwait on the successful hosting of the 45th Gulf Summit on December 1, 2024, and expressed his hope to welcome the Kuwaiti Prime Minister to Cairo soon. He underlined Egypt's commitment to boosting Kuwaiti investments and exploring new opportunities in various sectors.
For his part, Minister Al-Yahya expressed Kuwait's deep appreciation for the strong and historic ties with Egypt, noting the gratitude of the Emir of Kuwait for President El-Sisi's efforts at both the domestic and regional levels, particularly in addressing the crises facing the Arab world.
Minister Al-Yahya also expressed his hope to host Prime Minister Madbouly in Kuwait in the near future, emphasizing the important role played by the Egyptian community in Kuwait and the broad range of cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
He further highlighted that supporting Kuwaiti investments in Egypt is a top priority for the Kuwaiti government, as it seeks to advance strategic partnerships with Egypt and other key nations in the coming period.
The Kuwaiti delegation included Ambassador Bader Al-Taneeb, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Minister's Office Affairs, and Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanim, Ambassador of Kuwait to Cairo. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Ihab Fahmy, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt for Arab Affairs.
