Cold weather with light rain expected, Friday

CAIRO – 29 November 2024:  Egypt’s General Authority for Meteorology expects that, Friday’s weather will be cold at night and early in the morning, as it will be tending to be cold also in Greater Cairo, the North Coast, the North Coast and North Upper Egypt, and moderate in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

It said that the country is expected to be affected by morning fog on some agricultural and express roads and roads close to waters.

It indicated that light rain, which may be moderate, is expected to fall on areas of the northeastern coasts, extending lightly to areas of the northwestern coasts and North Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.

It pointed out that winds are expected on Friday, sometimes active in areas of South Sinai and North Upper Egypt at intermittent intervals.

The Meteorological Authority explained the expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be as follows:

Greater Cairo: highs of 22 – lows of 13

Alexandria: highs of 22 – lows of 14

Marsa Matrouh: highs of 21 – lows of 13

Sohag: highs of 22 – lows of 9

Qena: highs of 23 – lows of 11

Aswan: highs of 24 – lows of 11.
