CAIRO – 24 November 2024: The criminal court’s counseling chamber has removed the names of 716 individuals from lists of terrorist entities and individuals at the request of the Public Prosecution.

In a statement on Sunday, the prosecution emphasized that the decision comes after security authorities found that these individuals have ceased their unlawful activities against the state and its institutions.

The prosecution highlighted that the move to simultaneously remove these individuals from the lists of terror entities aligns with the state's commitment to reassess the status of those included in these lists.

The prosecution stated that efforts are ongoing to review the statuses of other individuals who remain on the lists, with the intention of removing the names of those confirmed to have ceased their illegal activities.
