CAIRO - 23 November 2024: Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar El-Badry, the new Egyptian Ambassador of Egypt to Germany, presented his credentials to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Berlin on the morning of November 22.

 

During the ceremony, Ambassador El-Badry conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to President Steinmeier, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.

 

He also expressed President El-Sisi's pride in the strong and enduring relations between the two countries. The Ambassador emphasized the Egyptian leadership's commitment to further strengthening the distinguished bilateral ties that have spanned over seventy years and are continuously growing, particularly in the areas of economics, investment, technology, and culture. 

 

The ambassador reiterated that President El-Sisi had entrusted him with the task of advancing and deepening this partnership in all sectors to serve the mutual interests of both nations and their peoples.

 

For his part, President Steinmeier conveyed his greetings to President El-Sisi and welcomed Ambassador El-Badry to Berlin. 

 

He wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic duties and affirmed Germany's appreciation for its special relationship with Egypt, one of the most important countries in the region. 

 

President Steinmeier praised the progress made in bilateral relations and expressed Germany's desire to further enhance these ties in ways that benefit both nations and promote stability in the region.
