Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty met today, November 15, with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov

CAIRO- 15- November 2024: On the sidelines of the 15th Sir Bani Yas Forum in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty met today, November 15, with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

 

During the meeting, the two ministers agreed on the importance of accelerating the joint coordination between the two countries, especially in light of the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the activities of the BRICS Summit, which was recently held in Kazan. 

 

The two ministers also discussed several bilateral economic projects that are being implemented jointly by the two sides. 

 

The two ministers also exchanged views on the developments related to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. They agreed on the need to reach an immediate ceasefire and unconditional access to humanitarian aid.
