President Sisi offers condolences to Grand Imam of Al-Azhar for the death of his sister

CAIRO- 14- November 2024: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to Grand Imam of Sheikh Al Azhar Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb to offer his condolences for the death of the Grand Imam’s elder sister, Hajja Samiha Mohamed El-Tayeb, who passed away yesterday morning, Wednesday, said the Al Azhar Sheikhdom in a statement on Thursday.

President Sisi also sent a representative to offer condolences to him in the city of Qurna, Luxor Governorate.

President Sisi expressed his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, to grant her a place in His spacious paradise, and to inspire the honorable family with patience and solace.

For his part, the Grand Imam expressed his thanks and sincere appreciation to President Sisi for offering his condolences.
