CAIRO – 10 November 2024: The third edition of the Egypt Media Forum (EMF) will convene in mid-2025, the EMF President Noha El Nahas told Egypt Today on Sunday.
The new edition will be made in a new, strong and effective form, she said, noting that this edition will focus on the role of the Egyptian young journalists and other journalists from various countries, besides discussing the various burning issues.
A press conference will convene soon to announce the agenda and the activities of the forum, the EMF President added. El Nahhas indicated that the forum is scheduled to be held under the same title that was chosen for it before the decision to postpone it.
The forum agenda will shed light on the Artificial Intelligence ethics, technology of the modem media, El Nahas continued. “The forum will have an international character and that it will discuss urgent and important files,” she said.
“The agenda of the Egypt Media Forum will reflect what the world is witnessing and that the majority of the agenda's axes deal greatly with artificial intelligence and modern media technology,” El Nahas continued.
“The Egypt Media Forum is an annual international event in Cairo promoting media knowledge, policies, and capacity building to develop the media environment in Egypt and MENA.”
The forum was scheduled to convene on November 23 and 24. However, it was postponed without giving any details on the reasons behind the postponing.
