CAIRO - 6 November 2024: Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi talked to Donald Trump on the phone on Wednesday to congratulate him on his winning in the US Presidential elections. 

During the phone call, President Sisi confirmed Egypt's aspiration to complete joint work with President Trump in his new term, in light of the strategic nature of the relations that extend over many decades between both countries, as well as the distinguished cooperation between the two sides that witnessed his first term. 

For his part, Trump valued Sisi's generous gesture, cherishing strategic partnership relations between both countries.

Trump also stressed that the United States is keen to enhance and develop bilateral relations with Egypt, in order to achieve common interests; whether at the bilateral level or in terms of preserving regional peace and security.
 
Donald Trump was elected the 47th president of the United States on Wednesday, as the Presidential elections results, as published by the Associated Press, showed Trump's decisive win over Kamala Harris.
