CAIRO - 25 July 2017: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain added nine individuals and nine entities to their terrorist list.
The Arab quartet added three Yemeni and six Libyan associations to their terrorist list, stressing that " these new measures come within the framework of monitoring the counter terrorism approach that the four Arab nations determined."
In a statement issued by the Arab quartet on Tuesday, three Qataris, three Yemenis, two Libyans and one Kuwaiti national have been added to the terrorist list on charges of promoting extremism and terrorist activities.
The Kuwaiti terrorist, according to the Arab quartet statement, is accused of collecting funds to Al-Nusra Front in Syria.
On June 5, the four Arab nations severed diplomatic ties with Qatar on charges of funding terrorist groups and supporting extremists. Qatar has signed a counter- terrorism understanding memorandum in a partnership with the U.S. administration few weeks ago.
