CAIRO- 1 November 2024: An Egyptian ship capsized off the shores of Libyan city of Tobruk; six people survived and three others are missing, Al Arabiya net reported.

 

Al Aabereen Foundation for Migration Aid and Humanitarian Services said that six people ( 5 Syrians and a Lebanese) survived while the three others are still missing. It added that the ship took off from the Egyptian city of Abu Qir en route to Benighazi. 

Three days ago, 12 Egyptians out of 13 people were killed after their ship capsized off shores of Libya while they were on their way to Europe illegally, the Foundation said previously.
