President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call on Monday evening from Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoo

CAIRO- 28 October 2024: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call on Monday evening from Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. Both leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, especially at the economic level.

 

 

The call was made in light of the two countries' keenness to support economic partnership and mutual investment opportunities, especially in the fields of agriculture, water management, and industry, in addition to cooperation in the field of green hydrogen production, said the Egyptian presidency in a statement. 

 

 

The two sides praised the level of bilateral relations at various levels, and affirmed their determination to continue efforts to develop joint cooperation. 

 

 

The official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the call also included consultation and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest, most notably developments in the Middle East.

 

 

In this regard, President Sisi explained Egypt's continued efforts to push towards truce and a ceasefire in the Palestinian territories and Lebanon. 

 

 

President Sisi highlighted the importance of intensifying the efforts of the international community, especially the influential European powers, to work to stop the ongoing escalation, and engage in the path of the two-state solution and the establishment of the Palestinian state, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, with the aim of restoring regional stability and achieving sustainable security for all peoples of the region.
