Photos: Egypt sends 3rd relief aid shipment to Lebanon and repatriates 293 citizens, family members

CAIRO – 24 October 2024: Egypt sent a third shipment of relief aid to Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut on Wednesday, including 23 tons of food, medical, and relief supplies.

Against the backdrop of the recent developments in the Lebanese territories, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the total volume of Egyptian aid to Lebanon has reached 67 tons so far.

Meanwhile, Egypt repatriated 293 stranded Egyptian citizens and family members to their homeland, bringing the total number of those repatriated so far to 883 citizens through exceptional flights operated by EgyptAir.
