Presumed leader of Lebanese Hezbollah Hashem Safieddine was announced assassinated - WIRES
CAIRO - 23 October 2024: Lebanese Hezbollah mourned Wednesday the head of the Executive Council, Hashem Safieddine, according to Lebanese media.
The Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday the elimination of the presumed leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hashem Safieddine, who was the candidate to succeed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated in an Israeli raid weeks ago.
On October 4, the Israeli army carried out a raid in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which was described as the "most violent" since the assassination of Nasrallah, and said that the target was Hashem Safieddine, the candidate to succeed Hassan Nasrallah.
