President Putin welcomes President Sisi at BRICS summit

CAIRO – 22 October 2024: President Vladimir Putin of Russia has warmly welcomed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as he arrives for the BRICS Economic Summit.

President El-Sisi has just landed in the Russian Federation to participate in the summit, taking place in the city of Kazan. This marks a significant occasion, as it is the first time Egypt is participating as a full member of the BRICS group since its official accession earlier this year.
