CAIRO – 22 October 2024: The Egyptian Cabinet's Information Center has refuted claims circulating on social media platforms alleging that schools have been supplied with expired vaccines.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health categorically denied these allegations, assuring the public that all vaccines administered to students are safe and meet the highest quality standards.

The Ministry emphasized that all vaccines undergo rigorous quality control measures, including regular checks on their storage conditions and expiration dates. Specialized medical teams are responsible for ensuring that vaccines are stored at the correct temperature and handled according to strict protocols.

To further allay public concerns, a committee was formed to investigate the specific claims made in the viral video. The committee inspected the vaccines in question and found that they were stored at the appropriate temperature and were well within their expiration dates.

The Ministry urged the public to rely on official sources for information and to avoid spreading unverified claims that could cause unnecessary alarm.
