CAIRO - 21 October 2024: The National Alliance for Civil Development Action has launched several initiatives to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and help them live with dignity and independence.
The alliance's initiatives have provided the medical tools and needs that help people with disabilities live their normal lives as much as possible.
The latest of these initiatives was "The Best Friend", which aims to integrate people with disabilities into society, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Life Makers Egypt Foundation.
The initiative works to achieve clear goals to help people with disabilities and their families integrate into society.
The campaign aims to reach 10 million citizens in 24 governorates, to raise awareness of the importance of integrating people with disabilities into society, and to provide them with the necessary support by providing the necessary training and rehabilitation for 10,000 volunteers from the Life Makers Youth.
A total of 800 volunteers from Life Makers Egypt volunteers participated in the launching ceremony.
The initiative aims to enhance the role of youth in integrating people with disabilities into society, and achieving equality for all.
The activities of the "Best Friend" campaign include spreading awareness, introducing young people to the initiative, promoting the integration of people with abilities and determination into society, reducing their social isolation, and helping them overcome the problems they face in society.
The efforts of the National Alliance were not limited to economic initiatives and cash assistance, but extended to participating in development efforts to raise the level of education and public health, ending with supporting young people and developing their awareness and self-capabilities, in addition to interacting with current events such as supporting the Palestinian people and other urgent issues.
