CAIRO – October 19, 2024: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that nothing will deter him after a drone targeted his residence in the northern Israeli town of Caesarea on Saturday.

No party has immediately claimed responsibility for the drone attack.

A spokesperson for Netanyahu confirmed that Netanyahu was not present at home during the incident, and that there were no casualties reported.

The drone strike occurred amidst a series of attacks by Hezbollah, who launched numerous rockets and drones into northern Israel on the same day, as reported by the Israeli military.

According to Israeli accounts, Hezbollah's assaults resulted in the death of at least one individual and left nine others wounded.

“We’re continuing our battle against Iran’s other terrorist proxies. We’re going to win this war,” he said in a video statement released following the incident.

During the recording, one of his aides inquired, "Will anything deter you?" to which Netanyahu responded with a firm "No."

Israeli attacks against Lebanon since October 2023 have killed around 2,400 people, with the majority of casualties occurring within the past month, as per Lebanon's health ministry.

Concurrently, the prolonged Israeli war in Gaza, spanning over a year, has killed 42,519 individuals and injured 99,637 others.

The war has also caused substantial damage to critical infrastructure, displaced most of the population and pushed the enclave toward the brink of famine.
