CAIRO – 17 October 2024: Ambassador to Monrovia Ahmed Abdel Azim met earlier this week with Liberian Vice-President Jeremiah Koung to discuss expanding cooperation, and exchange views on regional and international affairs of joint concern.
The ambassador and the vice-president also conferred over coordination at regional and international organizations. On his side, Koung expressed appreciation to Egypt on the human capacity-building support it is providing in various sectors.
The vice-president noted that such training had been a real addition to the development plans of Liberia, valuing the historic ties with Egypt and underscoring keenness on continuous communication and experience exchange.
