CAIRO – 17 October 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdel Aty made Wednesday a phone call to his Ugandan counterpart Jeje Odongo to discuss ways of bolstering bilateral ties and hold consultations on regional affairs of joint interest.

The two ministers exchanged views on the challenges facing Africa, and their roles on supporting peace, security and stability on the continent.

In a related context, Minister Abdel Aty expressed Egypt's keenness on strengthening bilateral relations on the political, economic and developmental levels. Hence, he delivered the greetings of President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi to his counterpart Yoweri Moseveni.
