Sisi appoints new General Intelligence Services head, general coordinator of security services

CAIRO - 16 October 2024: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi appointed Wednesday a new head of the General Intelligence Service.

Major General Hassan Mahmoud Rashad took Wednesday the legal oath as the new head of the General Intelligence Service before President Sisi.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi also appointed Major General Abbas Kamel as advisor to the President of the Republic, general coordinator of the security services and special envoy of the President.
