CAIRO – 16 October 2024: The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the Arab League, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Mutri, has commended the strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, emphasizing its deep historical roots and the remarkable progress it has made under the leadership of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In a press statement, Ambassador Al-Mutri highlighted that the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Egypt comes at a crucial time, amidst significant regional changes.
The ambassador explained that the visit will strengthen strategic and economic cooperation, serving the interests of both Arab peoples.
Furthermore, it will provide an opportunity to discuss shared issues and unify visions. Al-Mutri stressed the paramount importance of the visit in exploring ways to preserve Arab security, address common regional and international issues, and enhance the bilateral partnership across all areas of cooperation.
Ambassador Al-Mutri also noted the longstanding Saudi-Egyptian relationship, emphasizing its role in co-founding the Arab League along with five other Arab nations.
