CAIRO - 14 October 2024: The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched the "Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative" in December 2023 with the aim of achieving leadership in information and communications technology by building skilled and creative cadres capable of leading the digital transformation process.
The initiative's objectives are to develop the skills of students and graduates in modern technologies, provide an appropriate environment for young people to start their own businesses on freelance platforms, and qualify students and graduates to join distinguished jobs in the information and communications technology sector.
The initiative is implemented in cooperation with major local and international companies specialized in developing technological skills. The companies organize many activities, including training courses to build youth capacities and applied workshops, and contribute to enriching the educational process.
Technology tracks
This include: Software development, artificial intelligence and data science, data science, cybersecurity, digital arts, business analysis and enterprise resource planning, embedded systems.
Professional skills
This include: Freelancing, collaboration and teamwork, continuous learning, personal interview skills, creative problem solving and critical thinking, digital leadership, innovation and design thinking, influence and negotiation, English language skills.
