3 suspected perpetrators of al-Badrasheen terrorist attack arrested

CAIRO – 24 July 2017: Giza General Administration of Investigation arrested three suspects involved in the terrorist attack that targeted a police vehicle at al-Badrasheen neighborhood in mid-July.

The attack resulted in the murder of five policemen who were inside the car nearby a checkpoint in al-Badrasheen.

Security forces raided an apartment in the Bulaq Dakrour district, where the suspected persons stayed, and seized weapons and two motorbikes that were in the criminals’ possession, security sources said on Monday.

On Friday, July 15, five policemen were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them at a checkpoint in the area of al-Badrasheen.
