Fatah Delegation: Israeli crimes against our people will drag region to violence

CAIRO - 12 October 2024: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty  received Saturday a delegation from the Palestinian Fatah movement headed by Mr. Mahmoud Al-Aloul, Deputy Chairman of the movement. 

 

During the meeting, Fatah delegation headed by Deputy Chairman Mahmoud Al-Aloul briefed Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on latest efforts made by the leadership headed by President Mahmoud Abbas to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people

 

The delegation said "the crimes committed by the occupation against our people will not bring security and stability to anyone, but will drag the region into more violence, and will not succeed in forcing our Palestinian people to give up their legitimate rights and will remain steadfast on their land no matter the cost."

 

Egyptian Foreign Minister stresses the need to work on Palestinian unity and strengthen the role of the National Authority.

 

For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reviewed Egypt's efforts to mobilize support for recognition of the Palestinian state and the contacts it is making to find a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian issue.
