CAIRO – 10 October 2024: Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, arrived in Luxor on Thursday to commence an inspection tour of several projects in the educational, health, service, and tourism sectors.

 

He was accompanied by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population; Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Sherif Shabiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities; Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education; Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities for Infrastructure Affairs; and Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.

 

Upon arrival at Luxor International Airport, the Prime Minister and his entourage were welcomed by Engineer Abdel Muttalib Mamdouh Imara, the Governor of Luxor, along with several executive leaders from the governorate.

 

The Prime Minister emphasized that this tour in Luxor, located in Upper Egypt, is part of a broad field movement by the government aimed at monitoring the progress of ongoing projects across various sectors. These efforts contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens.

 

Madbouly highlighted that his visit to Luxor will include tours of educational and health facilities, reflecting the state’s genuine interest in these sectors. He noted their close connection to achieving human development goals and building people, as citizens are the cornerstone of any economic growth, societal development, and comprehensive developmental renaissance.
