CAIRO – 6 October 2024: Egypt has strongly denounced the recent "massacres" carried out by Israeli forces in Deir Al Balah in Gaza on Saturday night, the Tulkarm Camp in the West Bank, and massacres resulting from air raids in the southern suburbs of Beirut and in different parts of Lebanon.

Israeli forces killed at least 26 individuals and injured dozens others in an airstrike on Ibn Rushd School and the Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque, both serving as shelters for displaced Palestinians, as confirmed by the Gaza health ministry on Sunday.

The ministry revealed that the Israeli occupation forces committed three separate massacres against the people of Gaza within the last 24 hours, resulting in 45 confirmed fatalities admitted to hospitals and 256 recorded injuries.

Tragically, some victims remain trapped under debris and on roads, with rescue teams and civil defense units facing challenges in reaching them, as per the ministry's statement.

Last week, an Israeli airstrike in the Tulkarm Camp in the occupied West Bank killed at least 18 individuals, including children.

On Monday, the war in Gaza will mark its first anniversary, with Israeli forces killing more than 41,800 individuals and injuring over 97,100 others, despite widespread international appeals for a ceasefire.

Simultaneously, in Lebanon, Israeli forces have violated Lebanese sovereignty through airstrikes and ground operations in recent weeks, killing 1,204 individuals and injuring 3,411 others, including a significant number of women and children, as of Saturday.

The Israeli assaults have also forced over 1.2 million Lebanese citizens to flee their homes, as per official Lebanese data documented by Anadolu.
