Egypt’s FM honors his predecessor Sameh Shoukry

CAIRO – 3 October 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty honored his predecessor Sameh Shoukry during a ceremony that was attended by senior officials of the foreign ministry and former top diplomats.

Abdelatty delivered a speech on this occasion, during which he thanked Shoukry for the important role he played during his tenure, and his valuable contributions to preserving Egyptian interests amid successive regional and international challenges.

He stressed that the distinguished Egyptian diplomacy was and will always remain the first line of defense in preserving Egyptian interests abroad.

For his part, Shoukry expressed his pride to having contributed to promoting the country's foreign policy and advancing its interests, thanking all the ministry staff for their dedication and hard work to serve the nation.
