CAIRO – 2 October 2024: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration. The meeting focused on Egypt’s involvement in the 79th UN General Assembly's high-level segment.

 

According to the Presidential Spokesperson, President El-Sisi was briefed on the key outcomes of Egypt’s participation, particularly in presenting the nation's views on various regional and international issues. The discussions included Egypt's involvement in the Summit of the Future, which adopted an international charter aimed at enhancing global governance frameworks.

 

This initiative seeks to reform international multilateral institutions, especially in addressing current challenges such as peace, security, sustainable development, climate change, and advancements in science and technology.

 

Additionally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs provided insights into bilateral meetings and communications regarding ongoing regional and international developments.
