Egypt Calls for Accountability and Recognition of Palestinian Rights
In his speech, Egypt's Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for United Nations Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Obaida El-Dandarawy, emphasized the growing importance of addressing Israel's unlawful actions as recognized by the International Court of Justice and UN General Assembly resolutions. He stressed the need to hold Israel accountable for its violations.
El-Dandarawy also highlighted the significance of recognizing the State of Palestine as part of a two-state solution. He stated that real protection for Palestinian children hinges on an immediate ceasefire, unhindered humanitarian aid, and the end of the Israeli occupation of all Palestinian territories.
