CAIRO - 17 September 2024: In a demonstration of the Egyptian Armed Forces' commitment to search and rescue operations, the naval forces successfully rescued three British tourists after receiving a distress call on Monday.
The tourists had gone missing during a diving trip aboard a tourist boat off the coast of Quseir in the Red Sea.
The General Command of the Armed Forces immediately issued orders to the naval forces to intensify search efforts.
