Largest Egyptian Door-Knocking mission visits UK to attract direct investment

CAIRO - 17 September 2024: Members of the largest Egyptian official, trade and investment mission have arrived in the British capital, London, to participate in a door-to-door mission with the aim of presenting investment opportunities available in the Egyptian economy.
 
The mission also aims to discuss the development of Egyptian economic indicators after the March 6 measures, in addition to supporting the attraction of foreign direct investment. 
 
The Egyptian trade mission is holding several meetings in the British capital, London, as part of a visit organized by the Egyptian-British Business Association, with the participation of a group of ministers, including Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, Eng. Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Rami Abu Al-Naja, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, heads of companies, banks and businessmen, where extensive meetings are held with British officials and heads of companies to support investment and economic cooperation between Egypt and the United Kingdom.
 
The Egyptian mission meetings will be attended by Ambassador Sherif Kamel, Egypt’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Gareth Bailey, British Ambassador to Cairo, Mohamed Abdullah, CEO of Vodafone Egypt, Khaled Nosseir, Chairman of the British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA), Ayman Essam, Head of External Affairs and Legal Sector at Vodafone Egypt, Gamal Salah, Managing Director of POD, Nadia Lamloum, Executive Director of the British Egyptian Business Association, and a host of chairmen and boards of directors of companies operating in various economic sectors, as well as a group of prominent businessmen.
