CAIRO – 15 September 2024: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed Cairo International Airport for Riyadh on Sunday, accompanied by Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Eng. Hassan Al-Khatib.
Official spokesman for the Cabinet Mohamed Al-Homsany stated that the visit aims to strengthen Egyptian-Saudi cooperation, address regional issues, and reflect the strong strategic ties between Cairo and Riyadh.
The Prime Minister's visit will discuss joint cooperation with senior Saudi officials and explore investment opportunities.
President Abdel Fatah El Sisi received the Saudi Minister of Interior, Prince Abdel Aziz Bin Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdel Aziz, on September 8, 2024, to stress the growing importance of collaboration and coordination between the two countries to confront security challenges and risks engendered by regional circumstances.
The Saudi minister delivered the greetings of King Salman Bin Abdel Aziz, and Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman. On his side, the Egyptian president sent his greetings either during the meeting that was also attended by the Egyptian minister of interior and the Saudi ambassador. The Saudi and Egyptian ministers had already held a bilateral meeting Saturday during the former's visit to Cairo.
