CAIRO – 10 September 2024: The National Alliance for Civil Development Action has proven the importance of civil society work in improving economic, social, healthcare, and educational conditions for the most vulnerable families across Egypt.

The alliance has launched numerous initiatives, demonstrating its ability to positively impact lives and reach every corner of the country. Some of the key initiatives include:

"Shoulder to Shoulder" Initiative: This program aims to unify the efforts of Egyptian civil society organizations under one umbrella, ensuring active participation and achieving national goals in the development of Egyptian society alongside governmental institutions.

"Boats of Livelihood" Initiative: Through this program, the alliance provided 30 modern fishing boats to enhance livelihoods for families dependent on fishing.

"Home Reconstruction" Initiative: This project involved building a center for Quran memorization and providing electrical appliances to young women preparing for marriage.

"Plant" Initiative: This initiative aims to develop small farmers and expand agricultural land, enabling 100,000 small farmers to cultivate 150,000 acres of wheat and soybeans in the trial phase in eight governorates, including Qalyubia, Beheira, and Dakahlia.

"Protection and Well-being Caravans": These caravans provide medical services, food and meat distribution, discounted clothing fairs, and water supplies to 50 families, while promoting volunteerism.

"One Hand" Initiative: Launched on July 27, this comprehensive development campaign aims to support 1.5 million vulnerable families by enhancing social protection and improving living standards.

It includes training 10,000 volunteers and conducting awareness campaigns, reaching 10 million people in 24 governorates.

The National Alliance provides a wide range of services in healthcare, social support, and education. Their efforts extend to empowering women, organizing children’s celebrations, and offering comprehensive family services to the most disadvantaged.

The alliance has also successfully collaborated with the government on comprehensive development projects, ensuring charitable funds are directed towards sustainable improvements in people’s lives. This partnership has significantly enhanced human rights awareness at both local and international levels.

The National Alliance has played a crucial role in improving healthcare services for millions across Egypt, offering free treatment and ongoing medical monitoring in government hospitals. They also launched a service initiative to reduce surgical waiting lists under the slogan "For the Love of Egypt."

Additionally, the alliance has organized educational seminars to raise public awareness on critical health issues, helping prevent the spread of infectious diseases and improving the overall well-being of citizens.
