FM, EU foreign policy chief talk strategic partnership, regional developments

CAIRO - 10 September 2024: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met Tuesday with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf.

The meeting took up means of enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Cairo and the pan-European body, Khallaf wrote on X platform.

Abdelatty and Borrell also discussed regional developments, atop of which the war in Gaza, the spokesman added.

The foreign minister and EU official are set to hold a press conference at the end of their talks later today.
