CAIRO - 7 September 2024: Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid on Friday condemned the killing of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, an activist of Turkish origin, by Israeli forces in southern Nablus amid a series of continued Israeli attacks.

In statements, the spokesman offered his sincerest condolences to the government and people of sisterly Turkey as well as to the family of the deceased.

The crime is a new example of daily Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians and those showing solidarity with them, he said.

It is added to all forms of violence and disregard for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, the spokesman noted.

Abu Zeid also deplored the unprecedented moral dilemma facing the international community as a result of the atrocities committed against civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories over many decades.
