CAIRO - 4 September 2024: EgyptAir Ground Services has inked a new deal with Turkey's A Jet to provide ground handling services at Egyptian airports. The agreement was signed today at the inaugural day of the Egypt International Airshow 2024 in El Alamein.

 

Eng. Yahya Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, and Eng. Ibrahim Fouzy, Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Ground Services, signed the contract on behalf of EgyptAir. Eng. Nevin Alish, Vice Chairman of IAB, represented A Jet.

 

A Jet, a sister company of Turkish Airlines, is one of Turkey's leading charter airlines. Turkish Airlines is already a major customer of EgyptAir Ground Services. A Jet has commenced operations at Cairo International Airport with five weekly flights.

 

The airline plans to expand its services to other domestic airports in the near future. A Jet's fleet comprises over 80 aircraft, including Airbus A320s, A321s, and Boeing B737-800s and B737 Max.
