Head of Media Syndicate thanks UMS for organizing 2024 New Alamein Festival

CAIRO – 31 August 2024: Head of the Egyptian Media Syndicate Tarek Saada thanked the United Media Services (UMS) Company for organizing Egypt’s 2024 New Alamein Festival in Al Alamein City along the Mediterranean Sea, Youm7 reported.

He added that organizing this great event reflects how big Egypt’s soft power is. Saada continued that the festival shed light on the importance of the New City of Alamein as a touristic destination in Egypt.

Saada also said that the UMS succeeded in providing artistic, entertainment, cultural and sports services that satisfied all categories and segments of society.

The 50-day festival concluded the activities on Friday evening with several songs supporting the Palestinian cause, besides a concert for Egyptian Rapper Wegz. It was reported that 60 percent of the festival revenues will be allocated to the Palestinian people of Gaza who are suffering a fierce and genocidal war by Israeli forces.

The festival also organized numerous trips for students and individuals with disabilities, in addition to supporting women breadwinners, producers, manufacturers, and youth, and contributing to efforts in human building and development.

Also, the 2024 edition of the New Alamein Festival featured a variety of activities, including theatrical performances produced by renowned producers and starring famous stars and young artists, football matches featuring legends and star players, visits from Egyptian government ministers.
