Rafah Crossing

CAIRO - 20 August 2024: Al-Qahera TV News Channel reported that the Israeli occupation authorities are preventing the normal entry of supplies into Rafah land crossing.

According to the news channel, there were about 16 trucks of relief and medical aid and food supplies that were on their way to the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, considering that this point constitutes the temporary access point that was agreed upon last May. They managed to enter after the Israeli Occupation worked on preventing their entry.

Nine fuel shipments were sent to enter the strip, including 5 trucks loaded with diesel that actually entered and unloaded their cargo, and 4 other cooking gas trucks that were actually brought in during this day.

The Israeli occupation authorities tried to prevent from safe and sustainable access and full access to this aid; however, it is only a very small amount that perhaps only allows for the livelihood of one street in Gaza.

He pointed out that there are major obstacles imposed by the occupation forces to prevent any amount of humanitarian aid from reaching the northern areas of the Gaza Strip.
