CAIRO - 16 August 2024: Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed providing all support to the Egyptian youths and their innovations that serve the areas of integrated development, including areas of supporting entrepreneurship.
 
During his speech at the opening of the car racing rally at El Alamein Festival, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly praised the great effort made by young engineers to come up with these electric cars. 
 
"It does not matter who is the fastest car in the car racing rally, what matters is the success of the experiment, and that every car can be a model for a future project," he said.
 
The Prime Minister pointed out that this rally is one of the important events in the field of building the capabilities of engineers, designers and manufacturers of electric cars from young Egyptian engineering colleges, saying: "As an engineer, I feel proud to see young engineers making things that make us happy in this beautiful and wonderful way."
 
He further noted that these efforts come within the framework of implementing the state's plan to deepen local manufacturing and develop the national industry, while benefiting from the outputs of scientific research and supporting the transformation of applied research into industrial products.
 
The Prime Minister reiterated the emphasis on providing full support to Egyptian youth to achieve creativity and innovation, in order to increase their contribution to various aspects of the Egyptian economy, including industrial fields, especially the automotive industry.
 
Madbouly also pointed the state's great interest in this industry and its work to localize it in Egypt during the coming period, adding that these various efforts will serve the areas of development in Egypt, within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030, which includes: strengthening and supporting entrepreneurship and the knowledge-based economy, encouraging entrepreneurs and innovators in the scientific research and technology sector, and integrating them into all sectors to advance them.
 
He also thanked the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the organizing committee from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, and the United Company for organizing this event.
