CAIRO – 11 August 2024: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli received Sunday his Libyan counterpart Osama Hammad as they discussed ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation in all fields, and the participation of Egyptian firms in reconstruction efforts.
In a related context, the Libyan prime minister valued the continuous Storm Egyptian support to the Libyan people, and that was last manifested in the aftermath of Daniel that hit the country last year.
Egypt, Libya’s eastern neighbor, sent tons of food and relief aid on board of three military jets to Libya and dispatched 25 rescue and medical crews to help in the aftermath of the crisis. That is in addition to an Egyptian Mistral-class helicopter carrier with tons of aid and skilled medical teams as it served as a floating hospital.
