CAIRO – 7 August 2024: Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, has underscored the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the security of navigation in the Red Sea and create a safe environment for commercial vessels amid regional tensions.
In a statement on X, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson and Director of Public Diplomacy Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed that Abdelatty had met with the Commander of the European Union Naval Force Mediterranean (EUNAVFOR MED) Commander Vasilis Grouparis on Wednesday.
