Hamas releases statement mourning its leader Ismail Haniyeh

CAIRO - 31 July 2024: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) released a statement Wednesday mourning the head of its Political Bureau, Martyr Leader and Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in an Israeli raid on his residence in Tehran. 

 

Hamas Movement expained that Haniyeh was assassinated following his participation in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian.

 

In the brief press statement, Hamas called the attack on Haniyeh's residence as "a treacherous Zionist raid"
