Ambassador discusses with Senegalese minister plans of Egyptian investors

CAIRO – 18 July 2024: Ambassador to Dakar Khaled Aref met earlier this week Senegalese Minister of Industry and Trade Diop Serigne to present a number of projects that Egyptian private firms planned to implement in the country in the sectors of infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and electrical industries.

In turn, Minister Segrine highlighted that Senegal aimed for expanding the surface area of its agricultural lands, and establishing new industrial zones in order to create more jobs. The two sides also conferred over the updates of the current joint training programmes and exchange of experience.
