CAIRO - 15 July 2024: The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported a significant increase in the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, with 38,664 Palestinians killed and 89,097 injured since October 7, 2023.

In a statement released on Monday, the Ministry of Health detailed that Israeli forces committed three new massacres against families in Gaza over the past 24 hours. These attacks resulted in the deaths of 22 citizens and injuries to 102 others.

The Ministry also highlighted the dire situation on the ground, with thousands of victims still trapped under rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.

Over nine months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
