CAIRO - 12 July 2024: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects that Saturday, will witness a slight drop in temperatures, with values ranging from 2 to 3 degrees in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo.
Very hot and humid weather will prevail during the day in most areas, hot and humid on the northern coasts, and at night at night.
Saturday is expected to witness continued high humidity levels, making the weather feel hotter than expected, with values ranging from 2 to 3 degrees, with chances of light rain in areas of northern Lower Egypt and New Valley Governorate.
Dsturbance in maritime navigation is expected on the shores of Marsa Matrouh Governorate, with wind speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and waves reaching 1.5 to 2.5 metres.

Alexandria records highs of 33 and lows of 24
Matrouh records highs of 31 degrees and lows of 24
Sohag records highs of 44 degrees and lows of 29
Qena records highs of 45 degrees and lows of 30
Aswan 46 degrees and Minor 31.
