CAIRO - 23 July 2017: The outlawed Muslim Brotherhood and Houthis militias have received Qatari funds, Qatari opposition figure Khaled Al-Hail said on Sunday.
On his Twitter account, Al-Hail wrote “the Qatari regime funds and supports Brotherhood and Houthis protests in London which oppose Gulf leaders’ visits.”
“Some persons and organizations protest against Gulf leaders in London and they are the same who organize marches welcoming the Qatari officials in the UK,” Al-Hail added.
Last week, Al-Hail also said the Qatar regime has paid millions of dollars to promote the image of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In early June, several countries, including Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, severed diplomatic ties with Doha over accusations of Qatar backing terrorist groups.
The countries closed airspace and maritime ports to Qatari transportation.
