CAIRO – 11 July 2024: The Supreme Judicial Council on Thursday denied reports alleging that former public prosecutor and current President of the Cairo Court of Appeals Hamada El Sawy, and his son, have resigned from the judiciary.
In a statement, the Supreme Judicial Council urged media outlets to refrain from spreading false news concerning the judicial authority.
The statement also mentioned that legal action will be taken against websites and individuals who spread rumors.
