Sherif Farouk: New minister of supply boasts major successes in workforce training, development and management policies

CAIRO - 3 July 2024: Newly-sworn Minister of Supply Sherif Farouk held the presidency of the National Postal Authority for several years, where he developed the post office system and created a major breakthrough in the services that the authority provides today.

Farouk served as First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nasser Social Bank and Managing Director of the bank from February 2017 until he assumed the position of Chairman of the National Postal Authority.

He has great experience in management and development policies. He also held the position of first general manager of the Egyptian Gulf Bank, and before that he worked in several joint banks and contributed to the restructure of some banks, including the National Development Bank, to become Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, when he served as general manager, as well as his work in restructuring Al-Masry Commercial Bank

The new minister has more than 29 years of experience in public work and administration, in addition to business development and qualification of managers and specialists. He also has decades long business development, management , and workforce training experience.
